The plaintiff was a 54 year old heavy machine operator that was involved in a motor vehicle collision on the Verrazano Bridge. As a result of the accident, he sustained an injury to his left shoulder which required arthroscopic surgery and a herniated disc in his neck which also required surgery. We successfully petitioned the Court to find the defendants 100% liable prior to trial. Though defendants’ expert neurologist opined that plaintiff’s injuries were “relatively minor” we were able to settle the case for $750,000.
